IV drip for dehydration at home in Dubai
Heat, a stomach bug, a long flight or a late night: a licensed nurse rehydrates you at home with an IV drip of fluids and electrolytes after a short medical screening. Sessions start from AED 399 and take 45 to 60 minutes.
Dubai summers regularly pass 45 °C, and dehydration creeps up on people who work outdoors, train hard, travel long-haul, fast during Ramadan or are recovering from vomiting and diarrhoea. Drinking water is the first answer, but when you feel dizzy, have a pounding headache, cannot keep fluids down or need to be functional in a few hours, an IV drip restores fluid and electrolytes far faster than the gut can.
Every IV session at Medly begins with a screening: blood pressure, pulse, a short medical history and a check for conditions where extra fluid is unsafe, such as heart or kidney failure. The drip is then set up by a licensed nurse with sealed single-use equipment, and you rest at home while it runs. Hydration drips can be combined with anti-nausea medication, vitamins or electrolytes depending on the cause.
